Maryland Cosmetology licensed professionals are required to take 6 hours of continuing education. This rule went into effect on October 1, 2018 (Click) HB 1600 State Board of Cosmetologists – License Renewal – Continuing Education The following licensees include:
Cosmetologist, Hairstylist, Nail Technician, Senior Cosmetologist, Apprentice Cosmetologist, Apprentice Hairstylist, Apprentice Esthetician, and Apprentice Nail Technician
